For Sale leads all candidates in yard-sign support.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - (FP) In what some political analysts call a modest surprise, For Sale leads all other presidential candidates in nationwide yard-sign polls.

Four more years?
The non-scientific state-by-state counts of both yard sign and bumper sticker volume shows For Sale with a commanding lead over both incumbent President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

Former Democratic pollster Pat Caddell wasn't shocked by the strong showing with election just over a month away: "What For Sale has been able to do in the race is demonstrate clear choices for voters who favor open floor plans, three or four bedrooms,  in-ground pools, fenced in yards, home offices, and first floor masters. Voters want specifics, and For Sale is clearly delivering on that promise."

Perennial favorite Fill Dirt is also making a strong showing.  Once a political afterthought, Fire Wood is showing signs of life, particularly in Northern parts of the country.  Concern remains, however, over Fire Wood's dual U.S./Canadian citizenry, and whether that disqualifies it for public office.

Four years ago, For Sale also demonstrated a clear yard-sign lead, only to lose in an epic landslide when it failed to register on any of the state and territory ballots.
