Don’t know what position offspring will play, but certain it’ll be “quarterblack.”

Glendale, AZ – Just minutes after Boise State sophomore running back Ian Johnson scooted into the end zone for the game-winning 2-point conversion to beat the Sooners, he was thinking about asking his girlfriend, Broncos cheerleader Chrissy Popadics, to marry him.

He proposed live on national TV and Chrissy said yes.

One has to wonder, though, will Chrissy’s father declare at the top of his lungs that the wedding will take place only over his dead body? Or is he afflicted with some sort of degenerative ocular disease that will trick him into believing “Ian” is from England or Holland or New York’s Upper West Side?

Time will tell.

For now, though, Ian Johnson’s proposal has to be considered a storybook ending to an incredible football game.
